We went with Showcase Homes of Malta so that we could have a Bill Lake modular home. Bill Lake has an excellent reputation and we knew if we went modular, it was going to be built by this company. Bill Lake did not disappoint. This was our best decision and we wholeheartedly recommend Bill Lake Modulars to anyone shopping around for a modular home company. - Showcase Homes of Malta works as a dealer for Bill Lake and other home companies. They (Emily in particular) humored my many, many emails during the design phase. Few people in the world are as patient as Emily was with us (she is a gem, if you go with Showcase and get to work with Emily treat her well). During the design phase, we changed the plan in a way that was not "standard" for a modular. We were encouraged to make the home to our liking, with Emily making sure we got exactly what we wanted. Our opinions became reality and were valued. We even had some extra insight on building dimensions, propane vs. oil, and a few other items from Joe. While we didn't realize it at the time, Joe really knows what he is talking about. Listen to him if you need advice, he will be honest with you. The actual building process on site in all honesty was not always smooth. There were moments when we did get frustrated. The take away from this is that no building process is 100% smooth. When you build, things will not be seamless. However, once we made clear our need for communication, Showcase stepped it up a notch. They began communicating with us as frequently as we needed to feel supported during the process and corrected challenges along the way. Since moving into our home, there have been one or two minor needs to have Showcase come back. The response time has been quick. The team at Showcase is still working hard to make sure we are happy in our home and that is the reason I decided to leave a review today. They didn't stop taking care of us once our final bill was paid and construction ended. Finally, it should be noted that in regards to sticking to the quote, Showcase did a nice job. We built during the pandemic. Building prices have changed over the past year. But Showcase worked with Bill Lake to honor our original quote. Thank you to the staff at Showcase Homes of Malta. I know that the process was not always smooth, but you worked hard to make things right. We sincerely appreciate all of your hard work to make our home what we've always wanted. In 2011 we found an already established home located in the park where we wanted to live. By the time our house was sold that one was also sold. The owners of that home recommended Showcase Homes to us. We immediately felt at ease when talking to Elliott. After showing the floor plan of the house that we liked to him, he selected several books for us to look through. We found a home that we liked and proceeded to make many changes to meet our needs. We moved interior walls to enlarge some rooms, eliminated the family room, added a wall and closets to make a guest bedroom, reversed the layout of the house to place the bonus room at the end by the driveway. this making the front into the back of the house relocating doors and windows. When the house arrived, Dick and his crew did a great job with the installation. We both agree that this was a positive experience from the start to finish. We greatly appreciate the courteous and professional way that all aspects involved in the selection, the changes, the purchase and the installation were handled. We would highly recommend Showcase Homes to anyone.”
